Dance Floor DIY

Описание к видео Dance Floor DIY

I built my own folding practice dance floor out of plywood. I used Bobby White's Swungover Blog as a guide.

Since it's COVID, the cost of plywood is expensive. I paid about $50 for the 3/4" pine plywood. The hinge cost $5 (screws included). Varnish: $8. I used almost the entire can. I found the mineral spirits in our garage. We already had the electric drill and belt sander.

My goal was to make a floor small enough that I could move it myself. Yet, large enough for comfortable solo practice and partnered balboa. It's possible to do a swingout on the diagonal, but not a very dynamic one.
