राज्यसभा सांसद कार्तिकेय शर्मा ने संसद में क्रिटिकल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर रेजिलियंस, प्रोटेक्शन एंड अकाउंटेबिलिटी बिल 2026 पेश किया। इस विधेयक का उद्देश्य देश के अहम इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर जैसे पुल, सड़क, सुरंग और सार्वजनिक ढांचों की सुरक्षा को मजबूत करना है।
इस बिल के तहत डिजाइन, निर्माण, संचालन और मेंटेनेंस में लापरवाही को क्रिमिनल ऑफेंस माना जाएगा। घटिया निर्माण सामग्री, गलत डिजाइन और लापरवाह रखरखाव के कारण अगर जान-माल का नुकसान होता है तो जिम्मेदार लोगों पर सख्त कार्रवाई होगी
साथ ही कार्तिकेय शर्मा ने शक्ति सम्मान विधेयक 2026 भी पेश किया, जिसके तहत महिलाओं को समान काम के लिए समान वेतन का कानूनी अधिकार मिलेगा। कंपनियों में एआई पोर्टल के जरिए वेतन अंतर की निगरानी और सालाना ऑडिट अनिवार्य होगा।
यह दोनों विधेयक सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा, जवाबदेही और महिला सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम माने जा रहे हैं।

Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma introduced the Critical Infrastructure Resilience, Protection and Accountability Bill, 2026 in Parliament. This bill aims to strengthen the security of the country's critical infrastructure, such as bridges, roads, tunnels, and public structures.
Under this bill, negligence in design, construction, operation, and maintenance will be considered a criminal offense. Strict action will be taken against those responsible if loss of life or property occurs due to substandard construction materials, faulty design, or negligent maintenance.
Kartikeya Sharma also introduced the Shakti Samman Bill, 2026, which will grant women the legal right to equal pay for equal work. Monitoring of wage gaps through AI portals and mandatory annual audits will be required in companies.
Both these bills are considered historic steps towards public safety, accountability, and women's empowerment.
