How to make a Swimmable Seashell Hair Clip for Professional Mermaids! How do you make a cute mermaid hair accessory with a shell? Easy! Follow this short DIY craft to learn how to make your own waterproof clip. This is what I wear as a Professional Mermaid, and it is safe to use in salt water, fresh water and in chlorine! So, take this to the ocean with you, wear it in the lake, or dive into the pool with it! Whether you're wearing a mermaid tail or not, you'll certainly feel like a true-blue mermaid when your wearing a hair clip like this! ♥

Not sure how to wear your brand new seashell hair clip? Here are a few ideas for you!!

FOR PROFESSIONAL MERMAIDS:
If you are a Professional Mermaid and wear a wig, feel free to attach this clip to your wig. It can be used along with bobby pins to help secure your wig to your head for underwater use. Simply jab it through your wig and clip it onto your braid as instructed to apply bobby pins in this tutorial.

You can also wear your shell clip around a braid in your natural hair, or you can attach it to your pony tail by clipping it onto your hair elastic.

DRY LAND WEAR:
Even though this cute seashell hair clip IS waterproof and is made to swim with, you can totally wear it on dry land too! Try attaching it the back of your pony tail by snapping it onto your hair elastic or scrunchy. You can also twist a strand of hair and use the shell to pin it back behind your ear... if that makes sense? Hahaha! It adds a nice mermaid flair to any of your outfits!

OTHER USES:
This seashell clip looks adorable as an accessory! But that's not all its good for! You can use this clip to hang up decorations and pictures in your room. Additionally, you can attach it to important notes to keep them from blowing off of the counter top. :)
