This delicate and introspective piece is the opening track — and the first glimpse into the upcoming album: Children – Musical Portraits for Piano Solo (Volume 1). This will be Andy's second solo piano album, featuring 12 compositions in all tonalities, each one a unique musical portrait of a real or imagined character. The album was composed in the house of Simeon Ten Holt, in Bergen, the Netherlands.

Andrei is a beautiful piece of contemporary neoclassical music — gentle, introspective, and nostalgic. And it sets the tone for what’s to come in Children Vol. 1, we can’t wait to share more with you soon — so stay tuned!

📝About Andy Pavlov:
Andy Pavlov, also known as Andrija Pavlovic, is a pianist, composer, producer, and professor born in Belgrade (Yugoslavia) and based in the Netherlands. He has performed widely internationally and released 17 albums, both solo and in collaboration with other musicians, including his award-winning piano duo, LP Duo, formed in 2004.

Andy has had a distinguished musical career spanning over 20 years. Together with LP Duo, he has performed around the globe in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), the Kennedy Center (Washington), Meguro Persimmon Hall (Tokyo), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and at festivals like Ars Electronica (Linz) and Sonar (Barcelona).

Andy has performed the iconic piece Canto Ostinato by Simeon Ten Holt with LP Duo since 2005. They have also performed it at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, together with Jeroen van Veen and Sandra Mol.

Trained as a classical pianist, he completed his Konzertexamen and PhD studies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock and the Faculty of Music Art Belgrade. His music career later expanded into the fields of popular music, conceptual art, and composing for various audiovisual works (theatre, film, TV).

In 2015, together with LP Duo and a team of scientists, he launched the pioneering art-science project Quantum Music and co-developed the innovative musical instrument known as the DUALITY Portable Hybrid Piano System.

His music has been released by Universal Music, Donemus, Brilliant Classics and Sweet Sensation label.
