How to take Probate Listings

In Florida, when the final/last owner of a properties passes away then - regardless of whether or not there is a Last Will & Testament - specific procedures must be followed, including Probate.

Oftentimes agents will ‘take a listing’ and even put that listing under contract, without having the legal authority to do so. This is an area where you cannot take short cuts.

In today’s #tipoftheday I am going to cover pitfalls to avoid when listing a property that is owned by an estate, and what you absolute must have in place to list and sell such a property.
