"/8" in the name is the designation for all models of the W114 and W115 series. Read as "Strich Acht" in German, it indicates the model's production start date of 1968. The most charming are certainly the copies of the first series, i.e. those produced until March 1972. Small rear lights, small chrome mirrors, additional triangular windows (so-called "fletnerki") in the front doors, classic steering wheel shape - all this makes us perceive it as more dignified. In this car, the gear lever located at the steering wheel certainly adds to this image. Driving it is fun, but it also evokes enthusiasm on the road, among passers-by and other drivers.
