Alicante Golf - The Back Nine

Have you ever played golf amongst Roman ruins dating from over 2000 years old?
We are back at Alicante Golf, playing the back nine where you will find the remains of a Roman Villa which straddles the 14th fairway - and yes, you have to play over the ruins!!
The course is an intriguing layout as it is right in the heart of the Alicante suburbs, almost every fairway is surrounded by impressive houses, and appartments, making for some accurate golf required.
The course was designed by the legendary golfista de España - Severiano Ballesteros, so it is fitting that we played this course in the weeks building up to the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in the USA.
This is a very enjoyable golf course, and very rewarding to play, with lots of tree lined fairways, and lots of water which provides some wonderful wildlife in this urban location.
