An officer of Shu. Child of Liu Du, Prefect of Lingling. When Liu Bei's forces invaded Lingling, he and Xing Daorong counterattacked but were taken prisoner by Zhang Fei. Zhuge Liang instructed them to convince Liu Du to surrender, and released them. After Liu Du surrendered, he was left in charge of Lingling and Liu Xian entered military service in Jing.
