In this video we power up the Akai 4000 DS MkII. We use a series circuit with an incandescent light bulb that limits current in case there's an internal short or failed parts inside the appliance. Where the appliance may have been stored for many years, without being powered up, there is a good chance there are failed capacitors inside, etc.
