Описание к видео How To Make Canned Green Beans Taste Good Like Homemade | Side Dish

How to make canned green beans taste good like homemade. If you don't want bland tasting green beans from a can, just follow my recipe to the tee. People will compliment you and swear you picked the beans yourself. They will never know they are from a can. You can add raw potatoes instead of canned potatoes and omit the pepper if you don't like spicy. Check out the full recipe below.

Canned Green Beans W/Potatoes

Ingredients I Used:

2 Slices Bacon
2 14.5oz Canned Cut Green Beans (drained)
1 15oz Canned Whole New Potatoes or Raw (drained)
1½ Cup Chicken Broth
2 Chicken Bouillon Cube (use if no Chicken broth)
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Complete Seasoning (Badia)
½ Teaspoon Ground Pepper (or add to taste)
Salt if needed

Preparations:

In a skillet cook bacon for 2 mins, add onion and sauté for 1 minute. Put green beans and chicken broth in a medium pot (use chicken bouillon cubes if you don’t have chicken broth or if your chicken broth is too bland). Bring to a slight boil, then add cooked bacon, onions and grease to the green beans. Add seasonings and stir lightly to blend (if you don’t like spicy food omit pepper or use less). Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. Next add canned or raw new potatoes (if raw keep checking for tenderness desired). Cook for 20 minutes on medium heat. Do not overcook or beans will become mushy. Taste pot liquid to adjust your seasonings if needed. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Makes approximately 5 servings.
