What is ALR CLR screen?
What is CLR Screen? Ceiling Light Rejecting® (CLR) is a new version of Ambient Light Rejection screen (ALR). The special material absorbs up to 95% of overhead lighting. Its serriform optical surface lens microstructure negates the washout effect of ambient light especially from overhead sources.

Are ALR screens worth it?
ALR screens vastly outstrip the performance of matte white screens with superior brightness while filtering out ambient light. The end result is that is creates a realistic high-resolution image to be appreciated in all its glory with the lights on or off.

Do ALR projector screens work?
ALR screens only work if the ambient lighting is NOT hitting the screen from the same direction the projector. I.E. if you have your projector positioned at the back of the room near other light sources that are also aiming towards your screen, the ALR surface will not do anything to negate that other lighting.
