We’re celebrating World Elephant Day with some musical enrichment for our elephants at Melbourne Zoo!
This week, the herd has enjoyed live music from a brass band and a bagpiper!
Because elephants hear sounds and communicate at ranges that are inaudible to the human ear, music is a fantastic and stimulating form of enrichment for these gentle and clever giants!
