Lithuania to follow Poland’s lead in helping repatriate military-age Ukrainian men | Press Corner

Earlier this week, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski detailed his plans for Poland’s foreign policy for the next few years. 232 deputies voted in favor on Friday, while 193 were against.

After months of stalling, the U.S. House of Representatives has passed a major foreign aid bill, worth nearly 100 billion dollars. Of that sum, over 61 billion will go straight to Ukraine... aid that President Zelenskyy says is key to his country’s victory over Russia.

Problems may soon arise for Ukrainians of draft age who have left the country. A new mobilization law has led Ukraine’s partners including Poland to consider mobilizing their Ukrainian citizens.

A member of the Hamas leadership said that the organization had received an official Israeli truce offer. The government in Tel Aviv earlier informed Egypt, which is mediating the talks, that it was giving peace a final chance.
