Pull the slide back, engage the safety to lock the slide back, extract the magazine, rack the slide to clear obstructions, reinsert magazine, chamber a round.
The Hi-Point is special in the game (maybe in real life too?) because its safety switch only locks the slide in place. Either in the front position, to prevent accidental discharges, or in the back position, to lock the slide open.
