Covington Cross was a television series by ABC that debuted in August of 1992. The series was a costume drama set in 14th century England. It followed the life of Sir Thomas Grey and his family who live in a castle named Covington Cross. Although produced for American prime time television, the series was filmed entirely in England and with a predominantly British cast and crew. Oversees production was one of the main reasons for the shows high cost. The series did not fare well in the ratings and many criticized the show for having the young cast act like contemporary 90s teens/young adults. Although 13 episodes were produced, ABC pulled the series after the seventh episodes aired.




This video, although perfectly suitable for children, is not intended for current children. It is meant for adults who were children when the television show originated. My intent is to preserve or refresh the memories of childhoods from the past and offer some enjoyable nostalgia.
