DANTE THE PILGRIM (2017)

is a visual development on an imagined animated series of Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy". Aprilyn Cunanan is a fine arts major with a concentration in Animation and a minor in Illustration. She created on this project for two years to qualify for her undergraduate research thesis for a BFA in Animation from 2015 to 2017.

This is her finished work showcased at the Senior Thesis Exhibition: Emerging Artists in Jacksonville University's Alexander Brest Gallery

for artistic excellence and academic achievement in the Division of Visual Arts by Dana Tupa (Division Chair of Visual Arts) and Henry Q. Rinne, Ph.D (College of Fine Arts Dean)
