Mordhau Gameplay - Heavy Handaxe Build, Extra-Long Battle

Today's Mordhau gameplay video features my Heavy Handaxe Build, Haxe.
This is one of my oldest builds, I believe I debuted it during "Axe Week" way back in 2020 when I decided to spend a week using nothing but axes. If you're looking for a real throwback, search "Axe Week" on the channel. I'm proud to say I've come a long way since then!

In Mordhau the Heavy Handaxe is a brutal weapon that's great for two-hitting most enemies, the downside is the weapon's short range and slow speed for a one hander. The Falchion, for example, is only 5cm longer, but 100ms faster for windup and recovery. This downside can be taken advantage of a bit but using morphs to bait out panic parries. You'll see me do plenty of morphs in today's video.

One component of the Heavy Handaxe that I think gets overlooked a lot is that its stab attacks are just as lethal as its swings. You wouldn't expect that from an axe (you see how many stabs it takes to drop an enemy in my ranked duel videos). But in Mordhau the Heavy Handaxe stab attacks are the same HTK as its slashes!
