California is a state belonging to the Pacific Division of the Western Region of the United States of America. It is known for its cultural influence and diverse geography—ranging from the Pacific Coast and vast metropolitan areas in the west to the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the east, and from the redwood forests in the north and Mojave Desert in the south.

During the fictional War of 2027, NATO forces tried to eliminate Pax Armata sleeper operatives attempting to open a critical supply corridor to their troops embedded in Southern California.

In Battlefield™ 6, Eastwood is one of the two new maps introduced during Season 1, California Resistance. Set in an idyllic suburban area in Los Angeles, NATO Allies and Pax Armata soldiers engaged in a high-intensity encounter, turning luxurious villas and golf courses into a corroded battleground.
