Released in October 1977, it was an early first single release from their debut self titled album that was release in November 1978. "Bad Boy For Love" was a hit and their highest charting single which peaked at #19 in Australia. Many bands, including Guns N Roses have stated Rose Tattoo to be an influence, Guns N Roses covered Rose Tattoo's song "Nice Boys".
