Beginning at the Storrs Lake Park Trailhead, this segment of the Ice Age Trail passes through deciduous woodlands as it follows the eastern shoreline of a marshland. There is a long wooden bridge crossing over the marsh near the middle of the hike. The last part of the hike continues through the woods and skirts some farm fields. The segment ends at the North Bowers Lake Road Trailhead.

The next 9.3 miles of the IANST is undeveloped and follows roads until reaching the Clover Valley Segment to the east.

Total hiking distance for this section was about 1.8-miles. This section of the IANST is part of the 1.8-mile Storrs Lake Segment.
