Chapter 16 | Stage of Truly Settled | 正 定 聚 | Jodo Shinshu | 南 無 阿 彌 陀 佛 | Pure Land Buddhism

'Stage of the Truly Settled' is the the stage realized by foolish persons, who, having having fully entrusted themselves to the Other-Power of Amida Buddha and His Primal Vow, are now assured of Salvation. They know that they have been grasped and protected by The Light of Great Compassion and that this is their last life in the painful cycle of birth and death.

When we honestly realized that, there is absolutely no way for us to attain enlightenment by our own power through performing meditative and non-meditative practices, we would be fully settled, that relying on Amida Buddha's Vow-power, is the only option available to us.

'Amida Buddha' media channel is dedicated to the accurate dissemination of the wonderful expositions of Venerable Master Shinran on The True Pure Land Way, known as Jodo Shinshu.
