Ambushed in Indonesian Rio de Janeiro! 🇮🇩🇧🇷

After exploring northern Sumatra we head down towards the south, passing the largest volcanic lake in the world, and the biggest lake in Sumatra, LAKE TOBA! This supervolcano island is 90% Christian, (Catholic & Protestant) so you'll find a lot of things here most wouldn't consider typical "Indonesian" such as pork, magic mushrooms, and people wearing whatever they want!

After leaving the town of Tuk Tuk we went around the island and even left to see a massive Jesus Statue, similar to the one in Rio de Janeiro. There I got BOMBARDED with photos from every single person I laid my eyes upon. I felt like I was playing pokemon again with wild trainers approaching.
