Building a Custom Cross Member For Ford Episode 441 Autorestomod

We build a custom crossmember to fit our 4R70W. Most Falcon Fairlane Torino and Comet Montego built between 1966 and 1971 were equipped with the C4 automatic. The AOD and 4R70W would probably use a C6 Four Speed cross member. While maybe more appropriate, we use the C4 transmission mount to achieve the same result without spending all the money on a good used C6 automatic cross member.
