Control power tools using a Foot Pedal Switch

When using some of the power tools, you need to use both hands and also control on/off the tool. In this case, for my drill press I wanted a better control when to start it without moving it. This concept is based on the same build I made few years ago that I use for my table saw that I also built.

The foot switch you can buy at eBay, search for' Foot Pedal Switch". Here is 1 example:

The rest are things that you can buy at your hardware store.

Please note that this is 110/220V and you should build this only if you are an expert in high voltage.
