Hi everyone and welcome to another time under the lights. Today, we take a rush hour reroute that is a good one. Before going with my uncle up to Westchester to go bowling we take a (5) Train that goes to Nereid Av as opposed to its normal terminal at Eastchester-Dyre Av. During Rush Hours in the peak direction, some (5) Trains run via the (2) Line between E 180 St and Nereid Av, making all stops over White Plains Rd. The (5) does not go to Wakefield-241 St because after it terminates at Nereid Av, it will go to the 239 St Yard where it will be stored or maybe washed because the 239 St Yard has a washing facility. Therefore for Wakefield-241 St, take the (2) Train. During the PM Rush Hour, (5) Trains that run over White Plains Rd only go to Nereid Av. During this time period, southbound service over White Plains Rd is exclusively run by the (2) Train. During the AM Rush, northbound service is excusively run by the (2) Train.
