Part 2 of Healthy Eating with Amber!! (Go back and watch part one, if you haven't already)

In part 2, Amber visits her friend Christine's pantry to learn about the types of ingredients she uses and how she prepares vegan meals. Christine uses a variety of plant-based ingredients, including coconut products, nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables.

Here are some of the specific ingredients that Amber notices in Christine's pantry:

Nuts: pecans, almonds, mixed nuts
Seeds: chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, black sesame seeds, hemp seeds
Fruits and Vegetables: avocado, dates
Coconut products: Coconut aminos, coconut milk, coconut yogurt
Nutritional yeast
Butters: tahini, chick pea miso, sunflower butter, cashew butter
Cacao
Dandelion tea

Christine then prepares a vegan meal for Amber. The meal consists of roast cabbage with a lime dressing, sweet rice, chocolate doughnuts, and a chocolate protein parfait.

After the meal, Amber and Christine talk about the benefits of a vegan diet. Christine says that she feels healthier and more energetic since she has adopted a vegan lifestyle. And definitely no after-meal naps!!

After such a great and filling meal, we're inspired to start experimenting with more plant-based ingredients in our own cooking!
