Episode Notes:

1. The soundtrack is quite a bit richer and fuller thanks to modern technology.

2. The remake here keeps a record of your play time and the associated stats. Even your shot %.

3. I didn't notice any performance issues while playing, but I did notice some polygon draw in here and there. It's not distracting, but it is there.

4. This was of course the Nintendo Switch version. A PC version suppose to be coming as well.

5. The original game was among some of the earliest Saturn games I owned.

6. This isn't the first time Panzer Dragoon has been re-released. There was an Xbox version based on the PC original locked away in Panzer Dragoon Orta, as well as a PS2 Sega Ages release that ran at a better resolution and framerate.

7. The companies responsible for this remake are also doing one for Panzer Dragoon II Zwei.

8. Given the surprise release and the short schedule for this review, the gameplay you see here was my first time through the game. I finished it with a 89% shoot down rate and 1 death on stage 5.
