A woman and her boat, sailing in tune with a beautiful song, "Sailing", written and sung by our friend Chuck Pyle. Meet my wife, Leslie, and her dream for over 40 years. Chuck first shared this song with us around a campfire high in the Rockies, and we let it become a theme song to encourage us to follow the wind to the ocean. It has a lilting rhythm that flows perfectly with the ocean swells. In some scenes, outside Marathon, Fl., you'll see the Sombrero Lighthouse and boats moored up for snorkeling the reef. After a season as liveaboards on our Island Packet 35 sailboat, FIESTA, we are hooked and look forward to more adventures on distant shores.. . . . . Now, 2020, our beautiful IP-35 is owned by Joe Carter Green and out sailing with a new name, Serenade.
Update: I report with a heavy heart that my friend, Chuck Pyle, passed away on Nov. 6, 2015. . . . .in the mountains of Colorado. I will miss him. . . . ......... .....
