No Heat Sunday Service Call Hacking Dead Motor Back To Life

Описание к видео No Heat Sunday Service Call Hacking Dead Motor Back To Life

I am on a no heat hot air furnace service car. And this hot air heating system call not enough heat. This furnace is twin together another furnace attached a really large ductwork. I find that one of the furnaces is not coming on. I have power to my inducer motor, yet the motor won’t run. I try to move the fan on the outside of it. It is very tight. Therefore I turn the furnace off. Next I remove the inducer motor. I gave it some time to cool off.

Now that the inducer motor has cooled off. I start to lubricate the bearings on the motor. The stater and the motor also looks a little better. I spray a little bit of grease into there also. I reinstall the inducer motor into the hot air furnace. I reconnect steel work trickle power to it. After that I start up the furnace and the fan motor starts running. Therefore I monitor the operation of the fan motor, watching the Amps. The motor was rated 1.8amps and the motor was pulling 1.5 A. Then I advise the customer we have to order them a new inducer motor, because I couldn’t promise this motor would last. This is just to get them by since it was about 15° outside.
