I would highly recommend recording a “podcast” with some of your closest friends. Last May, both Doug and MJ encouraged me to train and at least make it to the starting line of Hyrox. That moment felt worth documenting — not just the physical journey, but the emotional one too. So we did. My gosh... I am so grateful.

It’s rare to experience platonic friendships with this kind of depth, which is why these two men mean so much to me. They are strong yet gentle, passionate yet kind — truly some of the best people I know.

Being known and loved like this is one of life’s greatest gifts. With them, I’m never too emotional, too dramatic, or too much. I am always enough — capable, understood, and seen. Like many of us, I’ve lost faith in friendship before. But these two are constant reminders of what it looks like to stumble forward — in fitness, in faith, in life.

We've had the luxury of time and the space between seasons we’ve wrestled through, and their ability to sit in the tension — to meet it with a compassion that feels almost divine — has meant everything. That kind of grace is only possible because they’ve met themselves there first. Their patience, emotional intelligence, and humour make my life sweeter than I could ever put into words.
