In 1951, British mountaineer Eric Shipton made a discovery that ignited global intrigue: he photographed a series of large, mysterious footprints in the snow near Mount Everest. These footprints, measuring about 13 inches in length, were unlike any known animal tracks and were attributed to the legendary Yeti, or "Abominable Snowman." Shipton's photos showed clear impressions with distinct toes, leading to widespread speculation and fascination.
