Model airplane hatches for newbies is a great overview of the important area of creating convenient access panels for model aircraft. Model airplane hatches, specifically hatches for newbies, is a very important aspect of model aircraft design and building, that allows the RC pilot to easily swap out batteries between flights.

I'll discuss and demonstrate hatches on nine of my RC model planes, to include RTF aircraft.
