Hurricane Katrina Aftermath, Aerial of Mississippi Coast by USGS

Damage surveys after Hurricane Katrina were performed by the US Geological Survey, in 2005. This is the beaches and coastal communities of Mississippi, traveling westward through Harrison County. It begins in Biloxi, and then moves along US Highway 90 through Gulfport, Mississippi City, and Long Beach. I added locators and street names, although some locators reference what stands in the location in 2020, not necessarily in 2005.

Search for "USGS Data Series 1033" to find high resolution photos of these same areas.
