For those of us raised in the 70s, discipline wasn't just about punishment—it was about survival, respect, and preparation for the real world. We all remember the "village" mentality, the respect for elders, and yes... the tools of correction. But looking at the state of the Black community today, many are asking: Have we gone too soft?
We compare the Old School methods that raised a generation of resilient adults against the new age of "negotiating" with toddlers.
