This video is a project of the Lorraine Hansberry Initiative, a two-pronged initiative to celebrate Lorraine Hansberry's legacy through the creation and national tour of a sculpture of the playwright and the creation and disbursement of a scholarship to cover living expenses for women and non-binary dramatic writers of color while they pursue graduate work.
