In this talk, Divya explores the three dimensions of rendering ideas; in the physical, mental and spiritual spheres with Classical arts and Kathak as a medium. She highlights her journey of being a Classical Artist in this fast changing world, emphasising on dance as a loop, a chain, a thread in the form of vibrating strings. For Divya, dance is not just a creative odyssey, a profession, a medium of meditation but a way of life to live a path of awareness. Initiated into the Lucknow Gharana of Kathak under the able
guidance of Guru Yogini Gandhi and the Great Maestro of
Lucknow Gharana, Guru Munna Shukla Ji, Divya has been
bestowed with the coveted National Award of India ‘Ustad
Bismillah Khan Yuva Purushkar’ and the National title ‘Singar
