In this video, I go over a rental company scam that happened recently here in Tennessee.

Residents of an apartment building paid their rent via money order in the rent drop box. An employee washed/altered the money orders and deposited them into her account.

Even though the apartment management company figured out the employee stole the money orders, as of the last report I saw, the management company was trying to require the victims to make up for the stolen money and pay double rent for the missing funds.
