Delhi’s Red Fort shook after a massive car blast that killed 9 people and left many injured. According to police reports, the car was parked near Sunehri Masjid for almost 3 hours. At 6:23 PM, the vehicle was moved out of the parking area and minutes later placed near Red Fort — where it exploded.

Initial investigation has identified the driver as Dr. Umar Mohammad. Security agencies and NIA are now probing the case as a planned terrorist attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the incident strongly, saying that no one involved in this attack will be spared and strict action will follow.
