Amazon is full of CR💩P. And is your brand it too...

...If you are not considering marketplace selling as a viable option for your future.

I get it, every brand and every product are different. Every brand has a different relationship with Amazon etc.

However, one thing has become crystal clear in the last year that almost all brands have in common: Amazon is starting to care about the profitability of their vendor business.

Take 1 Gallon SimpleGreen for example. At one point they were selling really well. Based on size/weight/price I assume Amazon was losing money on their freight. Thus they created a two pack version of the 1 gallon, so 2 gallons in total.

While sales have been okay, they have never returned to the volumes they were at with the 1 gallon on the sku.

This problem is far and wide on Amazon, and unfortunately, many brands are getting caught without a viable marketplace strategy.
