One of my favourite childhood walks. Johnson's Monument in Denbigh North Wales. A picturesque hike from my old stomping ground at Bryn Stanley, past the remains of Johnson's cottage (Kindly provided for the use of the great man by Gwaenynog hall), and on to the crumbing monument itself at the side of the Afon Ystrad.
