Does It Bleed?: Reviewing Labuk Notebooks with fountain pens

Описание к видео Does It Bleed?: Reviewing Labuk Notebooks with fountain pens

Hello again friends! Today I’m reviewing Labuk notebooks with fountain pens. Does it bleed? Stick around to find out!

Pen and ink combinations:

* Lamy Safari (F) with De Atramentis Document Fog Grey. Tends to be a wetter combination, bleeds through New Tomoe River Paper too

* Lamy Safari (M) with Diamine Golden Honey

* Jinhao 82 (F) Lamy Blue

* Sailor 1911 (MF) Monteverde California Teal. Sheens on Tomoe River papers but the sheen was not visible on this paper

* Pilot Kakuno (M) with J. Herbin Poussiere De Lune. This is a very dry combination

* TWSBI Eco (B) with De Atramentis Document Black

* TWSBI Eco (EF) with Pilot Iroshizuku Yama Budo

* Conklin Endura (M) with De Atramentis Document Fog Grey. This is a dry combination and this is the only pen that I DO NOT recommend from my collection. It’s pretty, but unpleasant to write with

* Pentel Energel 0.7mm. Juicy gel pen

Additional notes: None of the inks feathered in my initial test. However, I have since noticed that if I write slowly, the Lamy Safari with De Atramentis Fog Grey does feather a bit.

Also, the drier combos were less pleasant on this paper. There was a scratchy feel as I was writing with the Sailor 1911 (which is a feedbacky pen anyway) and the TWSBI Eco in EF. I don’t feel this is a dealbreaker, but I thought this info should be included.

Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions you have! Thanks for watching🙂
