Within Canada, 4 of the nation's largest lakes mysteriously occur along a straight line. I am not referring to Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, but rather even larger lakes such as the Great Bear Lake and Lake Winnipeg. There is a geologic reason why the Great Bear Lake, Great Slave Lake, Lake Winnipeg, and Lake Athabasca occur along a straight line. This fact relates to a geologic area known as the Canadian Shield, which will be discussed in this video.
