Filming Train & This Happens! + Trains Interrupt My Dinner! Do Not Hump Boxcar Front Of Intermodal

Trains Keep Passing By While Trying To Eat Dinner. Filming One Train When Another Train Surprises Me In The Opposite Direction. Trains With Hard Working DPU Locomotives! Norfolk Southern And CSX Trains In Glendale, Ohio On The Cincinnati Line. Have you ever had that happen when you are filming one train and then a second train shows up on the other track?!
My family and I were eating at the restaurant by the railroad crossing in Glendale, Ohio. Right when my meal arrived I heard a train approaching on my scanner. I ran outside to get a CSX intermodal train with the " Do Not Hump " boxcar on the front. This is a special car that has equipment to inspect the track. I didn't notice that I caught it until I was putting the video together. After that train passed I went back inside to visit with my family including my brother and sister.
All of sudden another train came. This time it was a Norfolk Southern mixed freight with a DPU on the rear. There were a lot of other railfans here also. This is a very popular place to watch trains.
Shortly after I went back in a CSX train with a DPU locomotive in the middle came southbound. Look at the size of some of the old boxcars. These giant cars are used for auto parts. The railroad crossing is a No Train Horn Zone. While I was filming this train a northbound CSX auto racks train surprised me. I just happened to pan the camera at the right time to get the CSX locomotive coming into view passing the train station. This train had a DPU locomotive in the middle. Look how huge the Auto Max articulated auto racks car is! It looks like a 3 story apartment building. Both those units together is one freight car.
We had a busy day. I was hoping to get a couple of trains and got four. By the time I went back in everyone was done eating. I couldn't believe how fast everyone ate so I had to get a box and take my dinner home. We had a great dinner and got to see my family again.
