Soft scones recipe

4 cups(250ml) of flour
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup of sugar
5 teaspoons of baking powder
3 tablespoons of custard powder
250g of Rama ( at room temperature)
200ml of Amasi
2 large eggs
1 teaspoons of vanilla essence

Method
Mix all the dry ingredients together first and add your room temperature Rama.
Add you Amasi, egg and vanilla essence to the mixture.
Mix together everything.

Pre heat the over as make the desired shape of your scones.
Grease you pan with the Rama and nonstick spray.
Egg wash the top of the scones before baking
Bake at 180 degrees for 15-25 minutes depending on the heat of the oven.
Bake till golden brown and you know scones are ready.
