In today's video, I show you how to paint a realistic lion cub in watercolour! I take you through my whole painting process and show you some of the techniques I use together with some tips that might be useful for beginners to watercolour.

Fabriano Artistico Cold pressed paper block 12 x 18" 140lb
Masking Fluid 1) Pebeo Drawing gum 0.7mm pen (good for details)
2) Frisk Masking Fineliner 30ml (Comes out very fast!)
Paintbrushes; 1) Da Vinci 1" flat brush series 5080
2) Silver black velvet brush size 8 round
3) Princeton SNAP! brushes size 0, 2 round
4) Daler Rowney size 6 flat shader
Watercolours:
Daniel Smith Buff titanium 15ml tube
Holbein watercolour in Yellow Grey (W151) from 24 tube set
Daniel Smith Lunar Blue half pan
Winsor & Newton Professional tube Neutral tint
Schmincke Horadam watercolour half pans (Olive green yellow; transparent ochre; burnt umber; burnt sienna)
