Replacing the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back on my ‘88 Mustang with a pair of Borla Pro XS mufflers.

I selected these mufflers because they have a reputation of being quieter at idle, but still being loud when you get on the throttle.

Overview of my install and a few videos with decibel comparison of the Flows vs Borla

- interior idle with windows up
-idle behind car
- behind car with 5000 rpm Rev.

It does appear the Borla are 2-4 DB quieter at idle, but still just as loud when you get on it.
