— Senior Civil Judge Radhika Calls for a Disability-Friendly Society and Encourages Parents to Support Their Children’s Education

Bhainsa December 10, (Afroz khan Press Media Division Correspondemt) A meaningful and well-organized program was held at Narsimha Kalyana Mandapam, Bhainsa, under the auspices of Sneha Society for Rural Reconstruction on the occasion of World Disability Day and National Human Rights Day. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Smt. G. Radhika (Secretary & Senior Civil Judge, DLSA Nirmal), Sri Shiva Kashinath Bachwar, Dr. Surya Kanth, Dr. Damodar Reddy, and Dr. Rama Krishna Goud, along with other dignitaries.
The program opened with impressive cultural performances by children with disabilities, whose confidence and talent captivated the audience and demonstrated that true potential is never defined by physical limitations. In her address, Smt. Radhika emphasized that disability is not a barrier to success but a challenge that can be overcome through courage, support, and proper guidance. She urged parents to encourage their children, provide them education, and allow them to explore opportunities, as these children can grow into professionals in any field — from medicine and engineering to arts and public service. She highlighted government initiatives such as financial aid, reservations, scholarships, and special training facilities for persons with disabilities, as well as the growing availability of disability-friendly infrastructure in public places.Referring to the Mental Healthcare Act 2017 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, she noted that these laws safeguard the rights, dignity, and opportunities of persons with disabilities and stressed that no child’s education should be neglected.
She concluded by praising the efforts of Sneha Society, stating that such organizations play a vital role in building an inclusive and progressive society.
