ZECK ALU SEPARATOR (ZAS) is “THE GAME CHANGER” in the powerline business. Harvesting money was never so easy! ZAS on site at Tennet, Germany.

The latest patented innovation to efficiently sort scrap acsr conductors! ZECK Alu Separator allows 100% pure separation of aluminum/steel which results in maximum revenue and quick amortization. ZAS can work at high speed (more than 6 km/h) and very efficient (17 kW = low energy supply).
ZAS can be used while stringing the old ACSR conductor at the job site OR at a collection point (for example recycling company) Amortization is very fast!

ZAS - ZECK ALU SEPARATOR
The ZECK Al/Steel Separator (ZAS) is positioned between the puller-tensioner
and a reel winder and drum stand during the stringing operation,
or between two reel winders or drum stands on-site at the scrap dealer.
The conductor passes through the ZAS, the aluminum layers are removed
and cut into aluminum pieces of 30–70 mm and then disposed to the side
into big bags or containers via a conveyor belt.
The undamaged steel core is wound onto the reel winder or drum stand.
This way, pure materials can be separated during the stringing operation!

The max. rope speed is 6.4 km/h.
We deliver a customized diesel generator set for the energy supply.

ZAS can also be used for OPGW and high-temperature conductors (e.g. ACCC).
