In this video we gonna see how to use the conditional formatting to create an expiration alerts in Excel Sheet.

With the conditional formatting, we gonna use the IF function in Excel or If formula Excel, also the Today function, to help us maintaining the spreadsheet always update and some simple math such as substractions.

The Today function in excel is necessary in order to make or worksheet update and to figure out which dates are due or on time.

=TODAY()

This function is dependent on the computer clock.

The =IF() if function in excel or the if formula, is one of the best formulas in excel because it's can help us to automate task, such as automatically create the status.

Then, we gonna use the conditinal formatting tool to to highlight specific cells when a criteria is met.
