Izuku Midoriya, Deku and Katsuki Bakugou whom Deku refers to as "Kacchan" are popular for being childhood friends and then rivals. Further more, their relationship progresses into a complicated bond. The reason that messed up their relationship in the anime was that , Deku did not develop a quirk and Katsuki felt like he was always below Deku even though he had a quirk.

In This au tho, they were separated even before any complexity could develop. Deku's Taher works abroad in America and his mother and the boy had returned to Japan when both the boys were 3. They grew close. And became each other's first friend...best friend. But alas, they had to separate. Deku's family finally got an opportunity to live there on the company's behalf. And his mother and he were to go back to America.

The boys were heartbroken. They had 12 more days after the news been broken out to them.They spend those days together, making memories. And then, the day finally arrived. They bid their goodbyes and in between , Deku gave Katsuki a promise that he will return.

10 years later Katsuki got into his dream school, U.A. Aspiring to become a great hero one day. By then he had grown enough to know that a child's promise is better forgotten. But then..2 weeks into classes comes the twist.
